Making Sense of Complexity:
Systems Thinking and Modelling in Health
Health systems are complex, and so are the social and behavioural forces that shape outcomes.
Join us for a practical introduction to systems thinking and dynamic modelling, and learn how these tools can help uncover hidden drivers, anticipate unintended consequences, and design more effective interventions.
About the presenter:
Jefferson Rajah’s work focuses on modelling socio‑behavioural processes within complex social, ecological, and health systems. Supported by the EU Horizon programme, his research examines the social determinants of diet shifts and integrates them into large‑scale simulation models to inform climate and health policy. He is an experienced systems thinking practitioner with a passion for participatory modelling and working with stakeholders to identify leverage points for meaningful change.
